A Rhyncholaeliocattleya hybrid from the Cattleya alliance, grown for its very large, showy and scented flowers. 'God Canvas' is a selected clone, so it is a good pick for collectors who want big blooms on a plant that stays easy to handle.

Like most Cattleya hybrids, it produces its flowers from the mature pseudobulbs, usually once or twice a year, and a single bloom can reach 13–15 cm across. The flowers carry a pleasant fragrance that is easy to notice in a room.

Care: give it bright, filtered light, without strong midday sun, and warm days with slightly cooler nights. In sphagnum moss, water only when the moss has dried out almost completely, and reduce watering during the resting period in winter.
