A sibling cross (× sib) of the selected clone 'Purple Coffee' of Phal. speciosa, so the seedlings keep the character of this selection. It is a botanical orchid, valued by collectors for its waxy, rounded flowers and for their scent.

Phal. speciosa is a medium-sized species from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Borneo, with arching flower spikes of up to 30 cm. The plant can bloom several times a year, most often from late spring through winter. Flowers may vary naturally in shape and colour from one plant to another.

Care: keep it warm (18–24°C) in semi-shade, away from direct sun. In sphagnum moss, water moderately and let the moss dry out well between waterings.
