A sibling cross (× sib) of the botanical species Phal. lueddemanniana, a small to medium-sized orchid endemic to the Philippines. This selection is known as 'Long Pedicels' for its long flower stalks.

The star-shaped flowers are waxy and fleshy, 5–6 cm across, with 3–5 on each stem. The colour varies from purple-pink to white, often with lines and spots, and the lip is purple or orange. The scent is strong and sweet, and the flowers last for about two months. The plant blooms from spring to summer and often reblooms from the same stems.

Care: keep it warm (18–24°C) in semi-shade, away from direct sun. In sphagnum moss, water moderately and let the moss dry out well between waterings.
