A hybrid between *Phal. gigantea* and *Phal. Kung's Red Cherry*. The 'Prince' clone is spectacular: the petals feature a creamy-yellow or deep golden base color, almost entirely covered by a dense pattern of spots, streaks, and large swirls in a velvety burgundy-red or dark purple. The plant's leaves tend to be large, broad, fleshy, and glossy green—characteristics typical of hybrids with *gigantea* influence. This is also a sequential-blooming orchid.
For sequential-blooming orchids, it is not recommended to cut the flower spike unless it dries out; the spike continues to grow and produce new flowers.
