Germaine Vincent is a primary hybrid between Phal. violacea and Phal. speciosa, and the 'blue' variety is selected for its bluish-violet tones. This plant is a sibling cross (× sib) of that variety, so it keeps the same character.

The flowers are round, waxy and fragrant, about 5 cm across, in pale blue to purple shades. Because of its species parentage, the colour and shape can vary naturally from one plant to another.

Care: keep it warm (18–24°C) in semi-shade, away from direct sun. In sphagnum moss, water moderately and let the moss dry out well between waterings.
